Jean Leblanc Nut Oils
Man, do I want these! (I hope Santa is reading this.) All I can say is YUM!
This economy set of Jean Leblanc Nut Oils consists of five 8 ounce bottles. Flavors include: hazelnut, walnut, truffle, walnut and pistachio. Other flavors are available separately.
I did a bit of research on this company and found that it has a very interesting history. Founded in 1878, by Huilerie J. Leblanc, it continues to be responsible for making the highest quality nut oils in the world.
Leblanc manufactures small batches of these yummy oils, beginning the process with only 54 pounds of premium nuts. These nuts are ground into a paste, in the original mill.
The paste (resembling peanut butter) is roasted and transferred to a press. It is pressed under 22,000 pounds of pressure, resulting in this delicious oil.
The oil sits for a period of 1 to 2 weeks, allowing any sediment to settle. It is then strained and bottled.
If you have had the pleasure to cook with ANY of these oils, please share your thought with us. There are SO many things you can do with it. Just think of the wonderful homemade salads dressing you could create.

Breville Primula Flowering Tea Set
I think this tea set is SO cool! It would be the PERFECT gift for the gardener who loves tea or the tea lover who enjoys gardening. I, myself, have never been much of a tea lover. However, with a set like this I think I could be easily swayed.
The Breville Primula Flowering Tea Set contains the following: a 40 ounce glass (borosilicate) tea pot and canister of 12 assorted green tea flowers.
The pot is dishwasher safe and guaranteed not to stain. The flower pods come in sealed foil packets and have a 2.5 YEAR shelf life, although I doubt you would be able to resist them for that long.
Preparing flowering tea is easy. Place one pod in the pot. Bring water to a rolling boil and pour over pod, filling pot. Allow tea to steep at least two minutes (or longer depending on strength desired).
Each tea flower can actually be used up to three times, in a 24 hour period. So that translates into one canister of twelve pods yielding over 250 cups of tea.
The flower pictured is a red carnation and takes roughly four minutes to open. (In regard to speed, each pod will be a little different and become more beautiful throughout the brewing day.)

Chocolate Covered Pretzels
I adore chocolate covered pretzels! There is just something about the combination of salty pretzels and sweet chocolate.
My ex-husbands best friend made the BEST chocolate covered pretzels. He would make them every year, around the holidays. YUM!
This year, I’m bound and determined to make my own yummy pretzel treats. You can add and drizzle SO much to them and on them, after they’ve been dipped. Everything from coconut to gated dried fruit to caramel to cake shots to nuts to peanut butter to cookie bits, to mini M&M’s to anything in between.
For dipping purposes, you can use melted chocolate chips, baking chocolate, white chocolate or something a bit more creative like butterscotch chips, chocolate raspberry chips or the combination of your choice.
You can use any shape of pretzel that your heart desires. I happen to think that large rods look the most festive, but that’s just my opinion. By all means, if you’d rather use twists… go for it!
If you decide to use pretzel rods, consider purchasing a variety of pretzel molds to embellish your treats. They are very inexpensive and are available in many holiday and event related shapes. Witches finger, anyone?
What is your favorite way to make chocolate covered pretzels? My inquiring mind wants to know.

Jelly Belly Candy
Ok, so maybe I’m a bit behind the times when it comes to Jelly Belly brand candy. But, I never realized it comes in so many different varieties. All I can say is YUM… and… eh… where’s my credit card?
I love traditional Jelly Belly Jelly Beans. The fact that you can combine so many flavors into extra tasty snacks makes them even more fun to eat.
Some of my favorite combo’s are Mud Pie (2 chocolate puddings, 1 cappuccino and 1peanut butter), Blueberry Muffin (2 blueberries and 1 buttered popcorn), Cherry Cola (2 very cherries and 1 Dr. Pepper) and Banana Split (1 each of: top banana, chocolate pudding, crushed pineapple, strawberry jam, very cherry and french vanilla.)
There are 50 official flavors of Jelly Belly’s. But there are other flavor categories, as well. These include: Rookie Flavors, Fruit Bowl Flavors, Sugar Free Flavors, Tropical Mix Flavors, Sour Flavors, Smoothie Blend Flavors, Soda Pop Shoppe Flavors, Sports Flavors and Stone Cold Ice Cream Flavors. That’s A LOT of flavors!
But did you know that the Jelly Belly Company makes over a hundred other types of candy, as well? Everything from licorice to chocolates to gummy candies to cinnamon treats to novelty candy to a whole lot more.
What’s your favorite bean combo? Feel free to post it here.

Seattle’s Best Very Vanilla Javanilla Coffee
I’m not much of a coffee drinker, but I absolutely love vanilla. The last time I watched ‘Unwrapped’, on the Food Network, they did a segment on Seattle’s Best Very Vanilla Javanilla Coffee. I have to admit that it sounds quite tasty.
One of the greatest things about all of Seattle’s Best flavored coffees is the fact that they are fat-free, sugar-free, nut free and Kosher certified. Can you say ‘healthier coffee’?
Vanilla Javanilla is a bold flavored blend with the rich taste of vanilla. I’m quite sure it would make a very good coffee to serve with dessert. It would also be a refreshing change on a cool autumn evening.
Coffee aficionados, from around the globe, have testified to the fact that this is the best vanilla flavored coffee they have ever tasted.
Seattle’s Best coffee beans are roasted in small batches. This ensures that their coffee is never bitter.
For the absolute freshest coffee, keep this in mind. Coffee loses its flavor when it is exposed to light, heat or air. For the best results, always make sure that you squeeze the air out of your bag of coffee, before re-sealing it. It is also recommended that you store it in the freezer.
