I fell in love with the spring 2008 D&G and Dries Van Noten collections for the same reason, the mixed-up pairing of floral prints. While some people may view this as being too “busy” and prefer a more minimilist aesthetic, I think that it takes a certain level of genius to mix conflicting and clashing patterns and create something beautiful and wearable. Elie Tahari combed over archives in Italy to achieve this for resort 2009, and once again I am a huge fan.
