CK Once and Again
It’s no secret around these parts that I am totally obsessed with Kate Moss. I will buy any publication on which her face graces the cover. Seriously. She could be on the cover of Field and Stream and I would buy it. My love affair with Kate began when I was thirteen, and she was the fresh-faced brunette in the CK One commercials.
According to WWD, Coty Prestige is launching a new print/TV ad campaign, launching January 20th, aka Obama’s Inauguration Day, adding emphasis to their “We Are One” tag line. The ads center around a song written by Jamie Burke, one of the campaign’s stars, who’ll appear with models of “all shapes, sizes and skin tones.” Explains Catherine Walsh, senior vice president of American fragrances for Coty, “There is such a natural synergy between the message of the campaign and the essence of our new president’s platform that it seemed the ideal moment to share the TV spot. The campaign — and its original song — give voice to an optimistic new generation, that certainly made its voice heard in the latest election. This is a celebration of the power of coming together as one.” That’s all well and good, but what I really want to know is, will Kate be making an appearance in these ads? Here’s hoping.
Feeling nostalgic for the fragrance everyone wore in jr. high? I thought you might be…
