An Organic Mattress Pad, Who Knew?

mattress-pad.jpgIf a tree falls in the woods and nobody hears it, did it really fall?  That’s what immediately came to mind when I saw this organic cotton waterproof mattress pad.

I mean, if you child wets his or her bed in the middle of the night, will anyone care if the pad is ORGANIC? More importantly, why is this organic?  Did they run out of things to make organic?

IMHO, the answer is no.  No one will accuse you of not being environmentally friendly, neglecting your child, or (shudder!!!) see you pull the non-organic tag off of the non-organic mattress pad when you’re alone.

That being said, I will let you in on some of the features of the Naturepedic Organic Cotton Mattress Pad.  Obviously, it’s made of 100 percent organic cotton made in the U.S.A. so it’s breathable and more comfortable then traditional rubber or vinyl mattress pads.  Latex-free, it features an ultra thin waterproof membrane in the center of the pad, which allows liquid to absorb so your child isn’t lying in a wet bed all night, and protects the mattress. PVC free and Phthalate free, too.

In addition, Naturepedic makes organic cotton mattresses (Naturepedic Cotton Ultra Organic Mattress)from crib size to queen.  Invest in one of each for unbeatable comfort and dry nights for them.

I always knew organic was best!
