We spend so much time on our computers that it’s no wonder we are looking for solutions to take them with us everywhere we go. Portable data is the way of the world. My laptop and I are inseparable most of the time. If you have a BlackBerry or an iPhone you know how much data you can carry on just an itty bitty little cell phone, it’s truly amazing the advancements we’ve made in this area. For an even simpler solution you can download all your information onto a flash drive and take it with you anywhere you go, plug it into a computer and get the information you need.

I am of course talking about Blackberry Smartphones. They are all the chatter everywhere this week, I even saw people talking about them in my Twitter stream. I will confess, I do not yet have a Blackberry at all. I have resisted giving in to the craze, but it’s getting harder and harder by the day to continue resisting. They have so many great features about them, stunning displays, sophisticated user interfaces and full-QWERTY keyboards… what’s not to like?
