Get Online and Have Fun …. with Your Nintendo Wii!
The number one reason why people buy a Nintendo Wii is for the gaming, no doubt about that. However, there are plenty of other things you can do with your Wii console that go well beyond just basic video games. It really is more than just a game system.
The thing I find the most useful about the Wii is the ability to access the internet from the Wii. It’s a great way for the kids to get online and have fun. You can use the Wiimote as usual or you can invest in a keyboard that plugs into the USB port. While you are on the Internet Channel you can create your own games. Once you have created them you can actually play them on your Wii. How cool is that? Your kids can make up their own game and then play it with their friends and family. (Well, my 8 year old thinks it’s exciting anyway…)
Each Nintendo Wii comes with a sixteen digit code. This is what you will share with others who you want to join games with online. You aren’t exchanging personal information that can let someone know who you are or where you live, so it’s a safe way for the kids to enjoy the fun of playing with others without setting up accounts etc. That sixteen digit number is attached to your gaming console and not to anything about the owner or where it is located at.

Nyko Wii Intercooler - Is Your Wii Cool?
My kids fell in love with the Wii the moment that I brought it home from the store. We had actually given up hope on finding one last year, then on a random trip to the store to stock up on the usual household items there they were freshly stocked and ready for the picking! I grabbed the cardboard placeholder and rushed off to the checkout to pay for and collect our Wii! I honestly don’t know who was more excited, me & hubby or the kids!
For the most part all of the electronics in your home are going to get warm when they’re being used, and many already have built in cooling fans. Your computer for example probably has a fan spinning inside it quietly right now. With long term use these gadgets can get hot, and that’s something the other components inside the device are not going to like at all! So, you want to avoid overheating at any cost! Overheating usually means you’re going to be replacing your favorite gadget sooner than you’d like to.
In this case the cost to avoid your Wii overheating is less than 6 dollars. Yes, you read that right. You can keep your Wii extra cool and protected for less than the cost of one iced caramel macchiato at your favorite coffee beanery.
The Intercooler for Wii is a snap on cooling attachment that easily connects to the Wii. The Intercooler provides increased air flow away from the Wii which allows the console to perform in a cooler, better ventilated environment ideal for cramped entertainment centers. No internal modification of the Wii is required. A pass through power connection utilizes the existing Wii power adapter negating the need for an extra AC adapter or wires. Patent pending technology allows the unit to power on and off automatically with the Wii. The Intercoolers small size will fit in tight spaces like entertainment centers with your Wii displayed in either horizontal or vertical format or in the Wii Stand.

Is Your Wii Fit?
The Wii Fit came out this week. If you’ve been on the internet at all the past few days you’ve probably read millions of great reviews. I’m sure I’d be giving you another great review if I had managed to snag one of those little beauties myself. Of course supplies of the Wii Fit are limited, just as the supply of Wii game consoles is limited. It’s hard to believe that Wii has been around for around a year now.
So, if I’m not here to give you another beautiful, great, shining review of the Wii Fit, then what am I here to tell you? While I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed working out doing the hula hoop or perfecting my tree pose in the yoga portion of the game, I can tell you that I haven’t read any bad reviews of the Wii Fit since it was released. Not a single bad review. To me that says a lot for what the Wii Fit is doing for people. It’s getting them moving and having fun doing it. And that’s not half bad. If you’re out there getting fit with your Wii this weekend, kudos to you and I’d love to hear about it.
